Join us for a relaxed foray into the living arts as I will teach you the fundamentals of making your own ecosystem.
I'll supply everything you need from the glassware, substrates, plants and moss - to the box you'll take it home in.
Refreshments are provided upon entry, and you'll even get 10% off to spend at the shop!

Whether you're a total beginner, somewhat experienced or a total pro - we'll provide you with the space, the tools and the know-how that fits your level.

What Will You Make?
You will be contructing your very own self-sustaining ecosystem, otherwise known as a closed terrarium.
Using various layers, specialist plants, moss, tools, and even some creepy crawlies (totally optional) you'll have made a miniature world to call your own. Each is different, and we'll be here to help you every step of the way!

Usually 2 hours. Some people finish a little sooner than that, but we give you plenty of time.

Everything! That's glassware, layering materials, plants, moss, decorative elements, springtails, and tools to use on the day. We'll give you care intructions, and a box or bag to take it home in.
And of course, that's not forgetting 2 hours of guided terrarium making!

There is a ramp into the shop, and no stairs or barriers to the workshop area. However we do not have disabled toilets available on site.
For our classic workshops, we will provide you with gorgeous, handmade glassware.
Of course you can! The glassware we'll use is generally 20 x 20cm, so err on the smaller side for any figurines.
